Hey I'm Nydia Kushta!

I’m a passionate photographer and a third-year student at the University of Florida. My love of photography truly began in 7th grade when I got a camera to take pictures while traveling with my family. Since then, my favorite subject in photography has become people – telling their stories, conveying their feelings, and highlighting our shared experiences.

Now at UF, I’ve continued to pursue photography in between my studies. I don’t limit myself to one specialization, preferring instead to try new things and push my boundaries. You can find me shooting portraits one week, engagement photos the next, and nightlife the following. This assortment keeps me inspired and constantly learning.

I approach every photoshoot with the main goal of making the subject comfortable, ensuring that above all, they have an enjoyable experience. I want to reflect the joy and energy of the experience. From lifestyle sessions to high energy club events, I strive to capture the dynamic ambience while showcasing what makes the client special.

The reward for me for doing all this comes from seeing the subject of my photos light up when the images resonate with how they wish to be portrayed. I love seeing people happy with the outcome and that’s what drives me. I ultimately hope for my photos to always convey captivating moments and experiences.
